Join artist Nat Walpole in celebrating Hot Girl Summer! Sustainably hand printed 100% organic cotton T-shirts.
In the artist's own words: Hot Girl Summer came about as a camp take on metal and punk band T-Shirts. Blended up with my interest in religious, sacred imagery, and the kitsch aesthetic of shojou anime & manga. I really like drawing monstrous but beautiful femme figures, since I'm a trans woman and I feel like that's the vibe people pick up from us a lot of the time. "Hot Girl Summer" is also such a good phrase, really speaks to a carefree and joyous way of living I think we should all aspire to. I hope you have a Hot Girl Summer.
Nat Walpole (she/they) I'm a Glasgow based visual artist working across drawing, painting, and printmaking. My work likes to nestle in the spot between between pretty-pretty and pretty-ugly. Creating grotesque or monstrous interventions on cute, elegant, or beautiful imagery.
