Risodyssey

"‘Risodyssey’ is a homage to Stanley Kubrick’s ground-breaking sci-fi film ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ and the Risograph machine. The publication has been printed by a Risograph printer and all the images within are digitally manipulated photographs of the machine itself. It is an abstract narrative giving the viewer the perspective of entering the machine as if it were a spaceship as well as, exploring the question of whether an entity is present within..."

Risodyssey is one of eight new zines commissioned by Out of the Blueprint for Print Expo 2023, sustainably riso printed at our studio in Leith using rice ink on recycled paper.
