Once More With Feeling

once more with feeling thinks through repetition, comfort, relaxation, rest and stimming (self-stimulatory repetitive body movement/noises), grounded in a longing for futures free of the ableism synonymous with capitalism. 

Emelia Kerr Beale is a Glasgow-based artist whose works attempts to process the complexities of illness and create moments where pain/pleasure/anxiety/joy can co-exist. Through the use of motifs and text, Emelia considers how repetition and imagination can be coping mechanisms.
